Kathleen Dugas: Montréal spokesperson for MONTRÉAL WALKS for Mental Health!
Kathleen Dugas is the mother of two children and lives in Montréal. She has worked as an administrative process specialist in the Office of the Executive Director at the Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Montréal since 2012.
Kathleen is publicly sharing her story to break down the barriers and prejudices that prevent people from getting help. In 2014, she was named one of the five Canadian faces of mental health by the Canadian Alliance on Mental Illness and Mental Health (CAMIMH).
Through her website 1000-visages.ca that she launched in 2014, Kathleen wanted to show the true face of mental health by featuring 1000 people and their stories. She invites all of us to meet and read about the people who have had the courage to put a face to mental health.
We are proud that Kathleen is one of the spokespeople of MONTRÉAL WALKS for Mental Health and we thank her!
