You’ve come to the right place to find answers to your questions about Montreal Walks for Mental Health.

  • Where does the Walk take place?

    At Place Emilie-Gamelin, right next to Berri-UQAM metro.

  • How long is the Walk?

    This year the Walk will be about 2 kilometers.

  • What time does it start?

    The Walk starts promptly at 11 am, so you must have checked in at registration by then. Registration starts at 10am. Don’t miss Ian Kelly’s mini-concert at 10:30am!

  • Is this a family friendly event?

    Yes! Kids of all ages are welcome.

  • Can I bring my dog?

    Yes! All dogs must be on a leash and comfortable in crowds.

  • What about the weather?

    The Walk takes place rain or shine, so check the weather report and come prepared.

  • How much does it cost to participate?

    Our Walk is FREE! Although we welcome donations, you do not have to pay to walk.

  • Where do donations go?

    Money raised is used to award grants to charitable organizations that provide mental health services in Montreal. We also depend on your support to hold the Walk each year.

  • Why sign up ahead of time?

    By signing up in advance online, you will save time at registration on the day of the Walk. It also really helps us to know how many people are coming.

  • Do I need to be affiliated with a group?

    No! Everyone is welcome to walk, whether you are connected to a participating organization or not.

  • How do I get there?

    Place Emilie-Gamelin is located right next to Berri-UQAM metro. Click HERE for a map.

    Berri-UQAM is on the orange, green, and yellow metro lines. Take the Ste-Catherine East exit and you will find us right there!

  • Why did the Walk change locations?

    We had to change locations due to construction on Ste. Catherine. Our new location, Place Émilie Gamelin, is a bigger and more versatile space—a new departure for our 10th anniversary!
